Z Blok™
Sunblock Named Official Sunscreen in the Grueling
2009 Primal Quest Adventure Race
Badlands,
South Dakota - - August 1, 2009 - - Z
Blok™ Sunblockhas been named as the official
Sunscreen of team Endurox, which is participating
in the 2009 Primal Quest. This is an expedition-level
adventure race drawing athletes comprising 38
teams from around the world. The race covers 600
miles (965 + KM) of open wilderness in the Badlands
of South Dakota.
Over the course of ten days beginning
August 14th the co-ed teams of four will run,
bike, paddle and navigate their way across 600
miles of the most diverse terrain anywhere on
the planet in temperatures often over 100 degrees.
They will experience towering spires, rolling
hills, wide open vistas, dense forests and steep
walled canyons as they scramble up rock faces,
go spelunking through local cave systems and traverse
miles of remote back country including the infamous
Deadwood in the shadow of the Crazy Horse monument.

Avril Copeland, the Irish captain
of the experienced Irish and American team said,
“After having being badly sun burned the
first year I did the Eco Primal Quest after kayaking
across Lake Tahoe, I believe using an athlete
friendly sunscreen is essential. And eliminating
the eye-stinging problem is huge. We face enough
obstacles as it is without having to worry about
that problem.”
Relatively new to the market, Z
Blok™sunscreen is free of fragrance or petroleum
derivatives that cause the eye burning problem,
allowing athletes to stay focused on what they
are doing. Z Blok also provides excellent protection
because it contains Zinc Oxide, which helps to
provide protection from dangerous UVA rays.
